Frequently Asked Questions

Freestyle Canada Volunteer membership

1 Parent MUST also have a Freestyle Canada Volunteer membership ($15)

Why do I need a Club Athlete Membership?

It includes Freestyle Canada insurance for your athlete. Make sure it's in place before your first day on snow, no matter which club you train with!

I have a ski pass for my hill already (FUNdamentalz)

If you already hold a pass at your home hill, reach out to your local club. You may be eligible for a discount.

I don't have Skis

Skis can be purchased at a local ski shop, and some hills offer rentals. Twin tips are recommended for freestyle. Not sure what to get? Our coaches are happy to help.

Is a helmet mandatory

Absolutely. A certified ski helmet is required for every athlete, every session, no exceptions. Freestyle is high impact, and we take safety and concussion management seriously.

Who runs the program?

Freestyle Manitoba is our Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) and oversees all freestyle events and clubs across the province. Each club runs its own programs within its region.

Is it Fun

Of course! Fun is built into everything we do, and our coaches are invested in every athlete's progress. Come out and join one of our clubs!
